We stopped here for two nights while visiting Guadeloupe Mountains National Park.
Eddy the owner is so nice and friendly. His RV park is very level, easy in and out, full hook ups and no plane/train/freeway noise. This is a no frills RV park. NO bathhouse, office or laundry. There are two restaurants in town (no bar). The restaurants are not always open. We made sure we had food to cook while we were at E & I RV Park. This was perfect for us and we enjoyed the peaceful evenings and beautiful sunset. If you come toward Dell City check out Eddy’s place.
He takes checks or cash. We will visit here again one day.
Thanks Eddy!

Eddie is so nice and welcoming- our trailer was too large for pine springs dry camping so we came to dell city and this rv park for the night. clean, level, water, sewer & electricity- just what we needed before 3 days of boondocking. The park is just 40 min away. so happy we found this little park. thanks Eddie!

We stayed here for 2 nights while exploring the Guadalupe mountains. Eddie is possibly the coolest nicest guy you’ll ever meet. The place was about half full when we stayed there. It felt pleasant, quiet and safe. No bathroom or facilities of any kind, must be self-contained. Stores in town have very limited items, but definitely check them out, the people are friendly, and it is an experience.

This may be a long review, but it’s because I really enjoyed my stay here. First off as all the other reviewers mentioned Eddie is an awesome guy and as a first timer in an rv park he was helpful too! In fact, if you take a minute to talk to him he can tell you anything you need to know about Guadalupe Mountain or the City of Dell City. Dell City is a small town, but they have all the basic necessities (fuel, laundry mat, stores etc.). Second, if you’re a worry wart like me don’t be worried about your reservation! When you call he writes you down as coming and that’s all. There is no confirmation or anything and if plan to cancel please let him know. He is very accommodating as well. We initially planned to stay two nights, but while we were here asked for two more nights. Finally, about the rv park! It is a wonderful rv park with a privacy fence on three sides. The whole place is leveled, both small and big rigs can fit here. It has full hook ups and 14 sites. It’s very quiet night or day. It’s a perfect place to just relax and get away from the hustle and bustle!

If you need to camp between Guadalupe Mts NP and El Paso, this is your spot. Flat gravel lot, no trees or tables or decor, just a level parking space with good electric, sewer, and water hookups. Eddie is very laid back and friendly; we called ahead of time to make sure there was room, and just parked ourselves when we arrived. He collected next morning. There appear to be two convenience stores in town, but we didn't go in either. Two or three long term-ers were our only neighbors, and they were quiet. One bar Verizon, off and on, and no OATV out here. Goes without saying no wifi.

As others have shared, only place to stay with hookups between Guadalupe NP and El Paso. Keep calling as Eddie only contact is by phone. Dell City is about 20 miles off 180. Town is mostly abandoned buildings from it’s hayday’s in the 1960s. Don’t expect to find well stocked stores. Two stores within walking distance, but only random items they may have picked up at Wal Mart. “Two Ts” has a Mexican kitchen attached. We got a breakfast burrito on the way out. We felt very safe as Eddie lives across the street.

We had a wonderful stay, great parking and much needed R&R. Everyone was very friendly and the owner Eddie assisted us with whatever we needed. You can get our propane tanks filled easily since it’s on site. Thank you again for a wonderful stay and we will be back.

If you are looking for a full hookup spot that is safe, quiet, clean, and located within a short drive to the Guadalupe mountains this is the place for you!!This is a small campground run by one of the nicest people you will ever meet. It is nestled right in the middle of Dell City. A small quaint farming community located at the foot hills of the guadalupe mounts. Perfectly located between El Paso and Carlsbad. This small town will have everything you need within walking distance if you so choose. Post Office, two small grocery stores, hardware stores, two gas stations, a NAPA, etc.

After a few days of dry camping, it was so nice to find this little gem. Dell City may be a blip as you drive by, but this full hook-up park is a perfect stop on your way to Guadalupe Mtn NP or Carlsbad NP. The owner takes pride in his small park & is so appreciative of those who stop. He was very attentive & even provided us maps of Guadalupe Mtn NP for our trip in the morning.
