Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 14, 2021We stayed for 10 days in September 2020 to ride side by side in the Black Hills. We did not have reservations the morning of the 20th. The owners were great to work us in for the 10 days. It was a very clean campground, Some sites are even concrete and all of them are level very nice grassy sites. And the restroom was spotless we are planning on going in June of next and stay hear again. The WiFi was very spotty an we had a little service for ATT and Verizon was not any good at our site. The campground has trails leaving it to the gas station and convenience store and trails around the area great place to stay and ride.

We booked a side here 5 months in advance. We were very disappointed to be assigned this site. Gravel surface that was not level. Other sites had concrete pads. The electric pedestal was on the wrong side of the site. The sewer connection was at the front of the site about 45 feet uphill. The adjoining site was right next to us. Was just barely enough to open the truck door without hitting the other site's parked truck.
There was an entrance to another campground a few feet from our site. ATV's and dirt bikes were in and out continuously. The noise was horrible.
When we checked in I was told there was internet available but it isn't much good.
There was an attempt to be cute with an outhouse in the parking lot. I just don't get it.

There are a number of things that we really liked about this campground.
First of all, the owner, Julie is such a wonderful easy-going person.
Second, the campground is over the top clean.
The sites were literally perfect for our 25 foot trailer and truck. So larger units may have a problem.
The bathrooms are superior to anything that I have ever used on a camping trip. Simply the best.
As a renovator I enjoyed checking out all the features that they installed.
I would have stayed longer but we had to get home.
There is only one drawback to the campground and that it is very close to main road. I slept well just the same.
