You can hear the Green River but you have to walk a bit in order to see it. Easy access off the highway. And a full Verizon signal! Dry camping only. Not a lot to do in the area, but for a one or two night's stay it's pretty nice.

Really enjoyed our stay here along the Green River. We stayed for 2 weeks and many nights we were the only people in the park other than the camp hosts (who were super people BTW). When others did come through they were almost always just stopping for an overnight. We saw osprey fishing the river, pronghorn browsing nearby and had a bull moose come through twice. The river is not in view but you can hear it. Sites are all pull through, very large and pretty widely spaced.
Verizon speeds here are fantastic so if you want a quiet place to get work done during the day and good places to play after / weekends it's a great choice. Pinedale is 20 minutes away with a pretty decent brewery. Jackson is an hour away with good groceries. You can easily access the Wind River, Wyoming and Gros Ventre ranges for some fantastic hiking.
It is right off the highway so you will get some noise but it's really lightly travelled so that's not bad at all. The mosquitos can be a little rough as well.
There are also several free spots just across the highway and up the river a bit. They all looked really nice but don't have Verizon data available.

I liked this spot. I was planning on just a "One Nite stand" but stayed for two. Nice and quiet, had Dump N Fills, water at spigots. with long hoses, not at the dump station. No direct hookups. Good Cell connections, thus the extra day to catch up.
Can't see the River, I didn't know it was there until walking up the road a little towards the highway. Some highway noise, but as noted in other posts, not bad at all.
Will keep it as a "Keeper" site for future stops along a way. Could have spent a few more days, but then I'd get 'Antsy' and want to move on.
I must say, the Camp Hosts were spectular, nice to have someone come out, greet and help when you first pull in. Very nice for change, Great Job All Y'all..

For a quick, clean, easy overnight stay this is a great campground. The hosts were great, informative and friendly. There are 16+ sites, mostly all level and pull throughs. It is in the wide open areas north of Pinedale. Many come here for the float fishing which is superb. There were a few unfriendly bugs and our dog found a bunch of stickers. Otherwise a great, clean and very inexpensive stop over campground. There's water everywhere and a convenient, clean dump station near the entrance. The highway is far enough away where the road noise is not an issue. We'll stay here again in a heartbeat.

Excellent hosts, nice pull-through sites, small campground make this a great location outside of Pinedale. The pit toilets were spotless. This CG felt very safe and the cell service is excellent. Even though it was right off of the highway it was pretty much silent at night. It was very cool in the evening despite hot sun during the day.

We stopped for the night while traveling to Jackson. The campground is easy to find and easy to drive in to. The sites are level with plenty of space between sites. The sky over the mountains was beautiful as the sun set. Definitely scenic. We felt very safe. Glad we stopped here.

Quiet spot outside Jackson. No continual hook ups, but a dump station and spigots near sites. Friendly hosts and a great view. Slept really well here. Road construction at entrance when we stayed, but not a problem.

I didn’t camp here but stopped in to use the dump station and fill my water tank. The fee to use the dump station is $5 if you are not camped here. There is a rinse hose with threads to connect your own rinse tank hose at the dump station. The potable water is in the day-use area. There are several spigots available and there was no fee for day-use or water. The day use area has many picnic tables and is right on the river so it is a nice spot to stop for a break. Camping is only $10 and the fee included the dump station, so if you are also looking for a place to sleep, this is a great bargain!

When we arrived we drove around and the camp host came out yelling and waving her arms at us that we were Exceeding the 5mph speed limit? It was clearly marked 10mph and then she continued to tell us about all the rules, like we couldn’t read them on the sign! Wish they would have posted no generators after 10PM before we got there because we weren’t ready for a night the temps were 30 degrees. One cold night and would stop there again if it was real hot or cold. Camp host needs to be replaced!!!

Views of three mountain ranges and access to the Green River. Nice large sites with fire rings and picnic tables - all sites are pull through and large enough to handle the largest class A. Clean restrooms, and potable water on site. The hosts knowledgeable of the area and very helpful.
