Dalhart is a very busy city at the intersection of six highways, this park is in town on US54 East. This is a big park with permanent, and long term transient, and a section set aside for travelers. Reservations would be a good idea. This is a clean and orderly park, very neat and tidy with employees always on the grounds.
Check in was quick and easy, office staff was very friendly. Our site was river gravel, long and level; we didn't unhook our tow. The sites in the overnight travelers section are closer than other sections of the park but certainly not tight. There is room for awnings and/or slides. There are no site amenities because for most this is not a destination. Wi-Fi was TengoInternet and worked well, sites also had cable we had over 50 clear channels.
The park is just off the highway and the railroad is across the street. There can be some noise, but the park fences and shrubbery subdue some of it.
The bathrooms are small and one person at a time, but they are clean and obviously tended to by the staff. Showers are part of each bathroom and also appeared to be clean and maintained.
Though all the rv parking areas are gravel there are some areas of green lawns including a dog walk. There is also a small kiddy park with grass and swings and places to sit away from the gravel footing.
The night we were here we watched the park fill and the manager did his best to get every person in somehow somewhere. He really cared and it showed.
This park is truly an effort to give everyone a safe and secure rest from the road in an orderly well lit park park. You do rest easy here.
The park was nice and had a lot of spots available at the last minute. Even ground and quiet. But a COVID warning for folks passing through - the woman behind the desk wasn’t wearing a mask and when I expressed that I would prefer to check in outside if she wasn’t going to wear one, she began criticizing me for wearing one.
Level Gravel sites. full hookups. Clean toilets and showers. Nice owners train noise

Inexpensive for pull through hookups on flat gravel. Clean showers and restrooms. Good wifi, except one time when they'd had a bad storm the night before. They usually have a couple empty spots if you arrive late in the afternoon. There is a railroad that goes through town only a block or two away, but it's never blasted horns during the night... you can just feel the vibrations and hear the clatter. Not enough highway traffic at night to make any noise. But Dalhart has a bit of a cattle aroma... so if you wake up thinking someone forgot to put enough water in the RV toilet to seal the black tank... the RV is fine.

We stayed here one night in early July traveling from Dallas TX to Alamosa CO. Very clean park with good size level sites. Friendly park management. This RV park is surrounded by farms which was evident by smell the evening we were there ;-). Will certainly stay here again if passing through. www.ourepicfieldtrip.com

We pulled in at sunset with no reservations while making our way toward Colorado. The gentleman in the office was very kind and friendly. He directed us to just pick a spot without a cone and pay in the morning. There was a pamphlet and map at the at the front that showed which spots were open.
The site was very level, full hookups and very easily to back in. They also have pull thru sites. There is also plenty of room to boondock if they had been full. We did not use the showers or the laundry.

Called up en route to Colorado, and found them very helpful and accommodative. We didn’t need electric or full hookups, so they gave us a good rate to back into a tent site.
Would definitely stop here again.

We’ve stayed here before. Perfect for overnights. Long term contract workers are also here. But, very quiet. All working. Gravel sites, all level. Internet is even decent.

The property itself was clean, well-kept, and level. We made a reservation day of and they had plenty of availability. Proximity to highway 54 was a double edged sword; it was very easy to find and get in and out of, but there was plenty of traffic noise from trucks coming into town and nearby trains. There was also a neighboring rooster that started crowing at 4:30 am. Over all not a bad place to stay overnight, but it is not the quietest.
