A Shore Venture

We stay here at A Shore Venture RV Park every time we visit Crystal Beach...there is enough room for the kids to be outside grills to bbq on and we love sitting out on the deck under the lights at night... it's so nice and peaceful. We stay here and have loved it every time!

My wife and I booked a spot here last-minute while coming back from a week in Florida. Kurt & Debbie were able to fit us in and it was PERFECT.

Despite it's size (only 5 spots in total) the Shore Venture Motor Court felt like a 5-star destination from the moment we pulled up. Set back slightly from Moms Road, and backing on to a little bayou creek, each site is beautifully appointed with a wood deck, picnic table, privacy fence, and planter box. Our site had brand new full hookups, and even had a zero-g water hose connected in case we needed to hose off our salty Jeep from a day at the beach...

...which is literally a stone's throw down the road. The location couldn't be any better, centered at the heart of Crystal Beach. The property also has a 100% Instagram-worthy communal space with a large fire pit, wooden dock on the water, complete with twinkling lights and lounger chairs.

This will DEFINITELY be our first place to stay every time we visit Bolivar Peninsula, pending we can squeeze in again!

We are several times a summer campers and are always looking for new places to go. This spot was one of the best we have stayed at so far!! Directions were spot on and very easy to find. I am Mom that takes the kids camping without the husband a lot so I always look for smaller and quiet campsite. The owners have thought of everything from level concrete pads, extra water hose for your use, privacy between the campsites, picnic tables, etc. I can't rave enough about this stay, it was perfect!! Just blocks from the beach!!

This a very nice, quiet, and a little private RV park. The park is well taken care of and very clean.

Our first time taking the new camper out we chose A Shore Venture. It was wonderful, relaxing and quiet. Each spot has its own living privacy wall, table and a herb garden for your personal use. Easy access to the beach and local facilities. We will definitely make it our local go to spot when we need some down time. If we could give them 10 stars we would.

We love this RV park! The owners are so welcoming and helpful. Kurt even taught my son to surf! The grounds are always clean and we love the small touches like having our own herb garden. The deck on the water is so fun at night with all the lights on. Beach is a quick walk down the street. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for 3 weeks in January 2022. This is a unique place. Only 5 spots on a channel 2 blocks from the beach. Spots are well appointed and maintained. There’s a shared patio and firepit. The neighborhood has mostly private RV parking sites with raised decks. Houses close to the beach. It was off season so not many people around, which was perfect for us. I’m sure it would be a different atmosphere in the summer. This is convenient to Bolivar Flats, High Island and Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge for bird watchers. We also watched egrets, herons, cormorants, kingfishers and osprey on site in the channel. It was cold in the AM so I took my coffee and camera in my truck and drove on the beach to watch the sunrise in comfort! I love that you can drive on the beach in Texas! Debbie and Kurt are gracious and friendly.

Great rv park clean within walking distance to beach. The park host were great. I will be returning for many more visits. Stayed in site #1 50 amp service full hookups.My fifthwheel is 41 foot little tight getting in site . Site #3 is much easier to get in it has enough room for a 41 foot fifthwheel.

We had 3 campers in our group and A Shore Venture was very welcoming! They provided Smores, a fire pit and some firewood to get us started. We brought our golf cart and were just about 3 blocks from the beach. We were able to ride there and then up to the highway to a local store. The motor court is centrally located in Crystal Beach to restaurants and shops. We were able to have campfires at night by the canal and enjoyed the quiet location. We will definitely be going back!

When you arrive, they sent over a gift pack for smores. A great place to build a fire or sit on the deck by the water. We already have reservations for May.
