Camp Margaritaville RV Resort Crystal Beach

This new resort was absolutely beautiful and spotless. Not just because it is new, but because the staff is constantly maintaining all areas of the property. Stayed for 2 weeks and didn't want to leave. The sites are level and didn't have any issue with the hookups. The showers were soooo clean yet the water pressure was extremely low. That was probably the only negative thing on the property. Laundry room was fantastic. Resort-style pool and bar was amazing. If you have pets, be aware that there are tons of burrs in the grass everywhere. It was hard to stay away from them. Lastly, only one grocery store on the peninsula or take the ferry into Galveston. Ferry is pretty awesome and free.

This resort is absolutely beautiful. The staff is what truly makes this resort how great it is! They are so kind and treat you so well. We originally were only staying for a week but ended up extending for 2 extra weeks. My two boys enjoyed all the resort had to offer and the staff knew them by name and treated them so nicely! On the weekends they have a lot of activities going on that are free of charge. They are still working on getting the restaurant opened up and some other things up and running. If I had to say one negative about the resort would be the goathead thorns in the grass.

Just a disappointment, especially for the price.

(E01) We went for 5 days, and never even went to the beach. So nice, we didn’t want to leave the property and spent our entire vacation in the pool! It’s a little pricey, compared to other RV parks, but you are paying for the resort-style atmosphere. The staff is so friendly and fun (Thank you, Mark & Julie!!) The drinks are AMAZING, food is great at both the restaurant and pool-side, and everything is clean and well maintained. Best campground showers I have EVER encountered. My husband even joined in a dodgeball game and had a BLAST! We will definitely be back over & over again!

We have been twice and have been very impressed with how clean and well kept the park is. Twice daily trash pick up at your site. Pool area has adult side and family side. Restaurant has great menu and waitstaff is very attentive. It is a little pricey, but we treat it like Resort Camping.

Checks all the boxes with this campground. Great beach destination

A splurge for us, but we're used to boondocking, so really not bad for all the included amenities. Every staff member was very friendly and sociable! You'll nearly always see one of them driving around doing something to improve the park's cleanliness.
We stayed for National Margarita weekend in the cheapest area (3 price levels) and were just going to stay 2 nights stay, but enjoyed it so much we extended to a 3rd night, and were able to get late checkout (overall stayed Feb 22-25). February is 24% off, we payed $71 after T&Fs, otherwise it would've been $89 before T&Fs.
Lots of activities to do for the kids, and plenty of things to enjoy as adults.

The pools and hot tubs are really nice, and the swim up bar is a fun touch.

Definitely take advantage of the dog wash area while you're there! Only tubs with cool water is supplied, but they're free, and water pressure is great!

The park is only 2 years old, so everything is nice and new.
