Basic sites are near the road so some traffic noise but not too bad. There are better sites around a lake for a little more money. Reasonably priced Laundry and shower trailers. Easy access to the beach about a quarter mile away. Very good free wifi.

Grassy sites that were level. Nothing special going on here just a place to stay about ten minutes to free ferry going to Galveston. Small grocery/gas/Ace/ pizza place down road. Beaches a short drive away. WiFi very good.

This is a nice enough park with a small lake and lots of green grass. Too bad that they bill themselves as "dog friendly" because this pond/lake and all of this green grass is forbidden for the dogs. There is no dog run and dogs are not allowed out of your RV. I was throwing the ball for my dog at dusk one evening when there was no people or other dogs anywhere around when manager Gloria came out of nowhere to rip me a new one. Gloria, by the way, should not be in the hospitality business as her "people skills" are severely lacking. She comes across as borderline hostile; which may be a good trait for a prison guard but not so great for a RV park host. We paid for a week in advance. In retrospect, that was a mistake.

The woman in the office is very friendly and helpful. She suggested the Stingaree Restaurant for seafood and live music. It was a great recommendation and only 4 miles away.
The sites are grassy, level and nice. Ours had a view of the pond.
The laundry is adequate, however, in a trailer. Just the basics. We didn’t venture into the restrooms .
Some road noise but didn’t keep us up.
Good WIFI and antenna TV

We pulled in, attracted by the location and Campendium’s reported $22 fee. The campground seems nice and the on-site manager was very friendly and professional, but she explained that the above price is for Passport America members and that non-members pay double. We decided not to stay. We’ll research P.A. when we have time.

We stopped here for a night while we were looking at properties for sale in the area. The staff was very friendly and the park was quiet. Some of the sites are by the main road but there are quieter ones in the back around the pond. There is a large (lighted and well latched) fenced dog park for your fur babies to run around in. My 3 pups were thankful for that. The park also doesn’t have breed restrictions which was exactly what we needed. It’s hard to travel with bully breeds and find a park that will let you stay. I definitely recommend this park!

This is a great little park. There’s s large pond where you can kayak or paddle boat, the sites are clean and level, and the owners are nice as can be. Only suggestions I have are having cable and maybe add a swimming pool. We’ll be back.
