We made our reservations by phone and when we got to the campground we drove around until we found our site. A trailer, like a work trailer, was parked in our site. It belonged to the semi-permanent camper set up on the site next to it.
We drove back up to the office and they assigned us a new campsite. Our new campsite was next to a semi-permanent camper. They had a large dog in the camper, and neither resident was home much. So we got to listen to hours and hours of this distraught, lonely dog barking. It made it hard to sleep and also just made me sad for the poor dog.
In the morning a staff member came by our campsite to talk to us about our dog barking all night long. We assured her that our dog was at the foot of our bed and never made a peep. We pointed out the camper where the barking came from and were told that the couple who lived there were often working multiple jobs.
I have figured out that I'm better off sticking to state parks and resorts that do not allow residential situations. For this reason, I would not stay at this campground again.

Very clean and pretty quiet. Staff is super friendly and made sure we knew where we were going. Was really nice after a lot of miles that all sites were pull through, so quick to get to relaxing. Would stay again if passing through and needing a spot to chill.

Spent a night here and had a great stay. They have full hookups and they also have hookups with just water and electric with no sewer. Wifi in camp was adequate and they have a dump site. Staff is extremely friendly the campground was quiet and clean and their pool was very nice. This is an old style campground taking me back to my days as a kid when I would go camping with my parents.
We will definitely be back here.

We were passing through and glad to find the Bean Pot for the night! Easy to get to, close to the freeway, all sites are pull-through. Campground was almost full but very quiet. $37 after fees and Good Sam discount. Used the cable, wifi, electric, and bathrooms; walked the dogs around the little nature path; and had decent cell service. Trash is picked up from your site. We had a 25’ + were towing an SUV and didn’t feel cramped. We didn’t get to check out the pool, convenience store, or free coffee since we left before 9AM. Call ahead if you’re arriving after 8PM.

We arrived 15 minutes before office closed. Door locked. Had to wait 10 minutes for staff to come to door and give us our prepaid campsite. Found site littered with cig butts and paper cups in fire pit. Office was a shambles. Would not stay here again

We were able to check in early which was a plus because we tend to arrive at our destination in the morning. One of the owners checked us in and he was very nice.
We got site 31 which was literally right next to the camp store and bathrooms. The bathrooms are clean. There is a pool, laundry and propane on site which are all a plus.
It's a quaint, quiet little campground. You can tell its a little older, but it worked really well for us for a night passing through the area.
There are a decent amount of long term campers here, We had full hookups at our site and it was perfectly level (which cannot be said for all spots).
It's also right off the I-40 which was very convenient. Overall nice campground!

New owners since sept 2023. These folks are so kind and caring. They’re fixing it up so they said next time I come through it will look totally different. They have a fenced dog park! Easy pull through spots. Far enough off the highway to be quiet but close enough to make it an easy pull off. Only stayed one night but I’ll be back when I come through again.

The campground was nice but there was non stop noise, all night long, from some industrial company at the end of the road. If we weren’t from NYC the noise would have been insufferable.
