“The Taj Mahal of Southern California”
Camp Mozumdar was built by A.K. Mozumdar, an Indian immigrant with a vision of creating a place where all religions could come together under one roof. Mozumdar passed away before he could complete his vision and the property was subsequently sold to the YMCA before being passed onto its current owners, The Unification Church. Now the church is working to restore the property with hopes of one day renting the temple out for events and weddings.
