Best Western Plus Northwoods Inn

It's a decent place to stay near redwood forest. It's a motel which has been renovated . The building at the backside is more secured and clean and well maintained. They provide microwave, refrigerator and coffee machine. Try to book a king bed.

Stayed July 2022. The place is run down, hard beds, and in general disarray. Not my usual experience with Best Western. I would not stay here again.

Terrible experience. We are traveling for work. The only travel allowed at this time. We arrive after a very long ride at midnight. We had already received a call to confirm we were there for work purposes. When we arrive the man at the desk said sorry someone checked in to our room already....what??? Then began to say we had to leave and a refund would be issued because paperwork about our travel had not been completed. Nothing about this had been stated by the lady that called to confirm the stay was work related. We asked for cooporate's number and he gave us the number to the front desk which began ringing as we called. So, we asked for the correct number. We immediately called and they were so confused as to why this was happening. They told the man to give us a room. He still said he could not give us a room until he spoke with his manager. UNBELIEVABLE. After another hour we finally got a room. I cannot believe how we were treated. This man needs some training on customer service and that cooporate is the ultimate authority. Please train your employees.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Location was convenient and the staff were very courteous. Breakfast was fantastic at their restaurant. We would stay there again.
