Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 01, 2019We camped here in April 2018 and spent 3 nights. The weather was a little bit cold and windy one day but warm and sunny the others. There are campfires allowed at each campsite. The lake is beautiful with clear water and great fishing. The park has a lovely paved walking path and in the summer a great place to swim. There is also a nice playground if you have children.
We have a 5th wheel and hooked up to full hook up, but there are beautiful tent sites right along the shoreline. It's a sweet park and the town is friendly with a great grocery store and hardware store for supplies. We will probably make this a yearly camping experience :)
Oh, the campground is first come with no reservations. It is very clean and well cared for.

About a mile or so before you get to the city park you'll see Coulee City rv park. That place is a dump. Keep going till you see city park about a mile or so up. Gravel parking lot, pretty darn level, quiet, showers, laundry, full hook ups, some spaces shady and some not. Right on the lake. Easy swimming! Full bars of straightalk and LTE was excellent. Sites are some pull through some back in. They have it set up like B1 is back in ,B2 is pull through ,B3 back in, B4 pull through etc. Not a bad little gig for the price. Wonderful lake!

Almost empty on 9/23/18. It’s a gravel park with scattered trees but lovely views of the water. Coots in the water and quail in the bushes just added entertainment, Plenty of room to walk around along the shore. Kinda austere landscape but that’s what this part of the state is! There are full hookups for $30 and that’s where all of the other campers were. Made me happy,

9/22/18 What appears to be a gravel parking lot is really a quiet little campground. $15 for no hookups, $30 for full. The tent/no hookup/$15 sites are all the premium sites on the water! All the other campers were in the full hookups...score! I’ve been entertained by 100+ coots and a covey of quail. The sky has been beautiful. It seemed austere at first but that’s what this part of the state it. Lots of space to walk along the shore, a little marina and a playground. Several bathrooms but honestly I didn’t go in them. I’m (65f) traveling alone with my pup (aka Fat Mable) and felt totally safe. It’s cleaner and quieter with better cell reception than the WA. state parks I’ve been to so far. So happy this place is here!

We had a blast stopping through here. The park was packed, but everyone had spots near the beach, and we opted to stay in the back where there was nice shade trees at spot 31.
They recently upped the price from 20 a night to 35, so we only stayed 2 night and then camped for free across the beach.
Spots are clean, full hookups, a great playground and a beach!

Nice water access, fairly clean bathhouse, and quiet. If you’re looking for a wooded camping experience, this is not it. The night we stayed, it was very windy but that didn’t keep the bugs down.
