Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on April 14, 2024We stayed three nights while visiting relatives in Corvallis. This campground is adjacent to 9and managed by?) the county fairgrounds and although there are some nice old oak trees, otherwise it's pretty basic. The campground was quiet and fairly tidy. There are slightly less expensive sites with just water and electric, but these were quite muddy and soggy in the middle of the winter so we chose a paved site with full hook-up instead. The camp host was friendly and laid-back and seemed pretty casual about collecting our payment, which I finally just wrote a check for and put in the drop box.
The restrooms and showers are located in a concrete block building with cement floors and no heat - pretty cold in the winter! The showers are the kind where the flow is atomized as it comes out the shower head so the water is hot at your head, warm at your shoulders and cold the rest of the way down. If you have your own shower in your rig, use it instead!
We would use this campground again when in the area, but it's too bad there isn't something better since it seems overpriced for the quality and amenities offered.

Whatever you do, DONT come in from the south on 53rd (from 20) if you are high. There is a railroad overpass sitting at 13'3" not far from the campground. We came in from i5 on Harrison Blvd. Tall enough, but traffic is a nightmare cutting straight thru the college. Lots of low hanging trees this way but only lost one awning motor cover that I noticed.
DONT stay in the overflow area unless you are desperate. c08 is right up on the bathroom/laundry area. Convenient but NOISY. And Just because they are available does not mean you want to use them. The showers that arn't broke, are dirty and the shower heads are awful. but hey at least they turn on and stay on. The water is very hot, no adjustments.
I was lucky enough to get the handicap stall so I could flip my hair over and use the lower nozzle to rinse or I may never have gotten the soap out.
Maybe full hookups would have been okay. There is limited selection in this area for big RVs. All I can say is overflow was way too expensive for elec and water. the park has WiFi that does reach into the overflow areas depending on where you are.

Terrible. About the only good thing was that the utilities worked. This place is very sketchy and basically an extension of a mobile home park. Many full timers with dilapidated rigs and a bunch of junk. We complained because the rules clearly forbid over 2 weeks, non running and licensed rigs and tarps with stuff stores. Left elegantly and got money back.
This is not convenient to any wi Erie’s if that is what you are after. 1 hr away.

Rolled in after making an online reservation, no issues. Until I found out you have to pay an ADDITIONAL $10 to dump even if you’re camping here. This is. It disclosed anywhere on the website that I could find. No thanks. I stayed one night because my tanks were busting and I had no water. ALSO, when you pay that additional $10 fee to dump, it DOES NOT include any potable water. You must be overnighting in a site to access water. Run down and poorly maintained on the fairgrounds here. Most spots in full sun, some in trees. I’m afraid to check out the bathroom for fear it’ll cost me another $10. Mostly 30A service, some 50A. I picked the cheap seats, $35 for e/w, plus $10 for dump. Not very cheap imo. I stayed because my reservation was non- refundable and I needed electricity for some heavy duty, top to bottom cleaning, but I won’t be back.

It was our first trip in our new travel trailer, also new to the entire thing. Wanted somewhere that was close to services if we needed.
Campground was quite, maybe 1/4 full over the weekend (4/5-4/7). No fire rings or tables, so not really the camping we like to do, but it served our purpose well, and we went into Corvallis. There's an excellent board game store there (Guardian Games).
We really didn't see any staff, we reserved online. We ended up next to either a camp host or long term camp situation, but everything was good.
I see above that this is listed as gavel pads, we were on pavement (I think over flow may be gravel) and we didn't have to spend anytime learning how to level the trailer side to side. We never visited their restrooms, since we were testing things out, made sense to use our own.
