Holiday Cove RV Resort

Holiday Cove is an owner park but does have several sites that the owners rent. All the sites are done in pavers and are landscaped. The sites are back in and FHU. There are about 20 sites along the canal with boat docks. It is one of the nicest parks in the area with a pool and clubhouse. Anna Maria Island in an easy walk or bike ride of 3/4 mile across the causewalk. There are miles of beach and free parking on the island. There are eight restaurants within walking distance of Holiday Cove. Our nightly fee was the result of the monthly off season rate. Nightly rate alone $90 and goes to $135 Jan - April. The park is located right on Cortez Ave and there is road noise. The west side of the park is along a boat storage area and is quite noisy as they load and unload boats. The foliage blocks the view. The park WiFi is outstanding.

Way too high of a price for poor experience. First, the price you see quoted on their web site is BS. $80 becomes over $100 after they add their "fees". Bait and switch for sure. Then, even after paying over $100 a night, the wifi doesn't work. At all. Guy at the desk told me that they "just can't seem to get it right". Plus cell service is very poor, so don't come here if you need to be connected. Very little privacy between sites, very difficult to back in, not enough room on the loop. Plus, just to make things perfect, the no see ums are crazy! Bit my legs to pieces. Either don't go outside or bring lots of deet...
