Jen and Burt met me at the gate and escorted me to my spot. We had a great chat and I could tell they are genuinely passionate about what they are doing here.
On the property, is a large, really relaxing kitchen structure, along with other out-buildings that include a large semi enclosed common area, Men's and Women's showers with on-demand HWH, rest rooms, dorm style and private cabins. There is even a mini store that sells artisan crafts and snacks.
This camp is 4/20 friendly, and guests are always mindful and conscientious of other campers privacy and space.
To keep with the dark sky and a quiet, natural experience, generators are not allowed. Also, I didn't use my exterior illumination, just to keep in step.
Verdict:::
Unique - Secure - Peaceful - A lot of space - Un-intrusive - Views in every direction.

Looks right up at Mesa Verde! Laid back campground! They have some cabins (private or hostal bunks), RV partial hookup sites or boondock, tent sites & a Hogan round tiny house w/ fireplace & it’s own clean outhouse, and little solar generator & mini pump sink. There are showers, a community kitchen stocked with supplies to use, ice for $2, and more. You have to book on Airbnb or Hipcamp. Everyone loves it when reading reviews. I think it’s going to have more upgrades in 2022 & 2023 and be pet friendly.
It’s cannabis friendly so no kids are there. The spaces, showers, etc are clean! Oh, also good wifi and bring a flashlight. They might sell them & snacks, etc in their little store.

Came back here, Name Changed To Bright Star & It’s such a great property where campsites are spread out. Great amenities even drinking water & ice were Included. They have these “camping cabins” pretty inexpensive, tent sites and these new Tipis now. I saw a couple options for a few RV’s but it’s not an RV Park. Their kitchen is great, just bring your food, cook, eat, clean up.. everything provided but the food.. even spices. It’s a much better deal & better location than even the campground in Mesa Verde Nat’l Park.

This is a single, large rv pad that is setup better than all the campgrounds I stayed at in my 8,000 mile road trip. Site was totally level and hookups and dump right next to pad. It's a pull through Site and was easy to set up my 35ft fifth wheel.
Views were amazing! A bit off the beaten path but the short drive is worth it to have a private rv site.
Host was very friendly and helpful!
Wifi was strong and we were able to stream.
