We stayed here for one night because the nearby state park was at capacity, and I am glad it gave us the opportunity to stay here. It was $15 for a site, I believe all of the sites are primitive sites. It was all first come first serve. The site we got was very private, with trees on both sides. We also had a view of the lake, which was awesome for sunrise. It looked like some of the spots right on the lake were less private. Definitely would stay here again.

This property is three things, and a campground is not first on the list. First, it is the headquarters of Rock Solid, a mountain bike trail building company. Their equipment building is the first thing you'll see after the pay kiosk. There's various employees and equipment in and out.

The next thing they are is a commercial farm to table garden. Those employees rip up and down the outside road to the garden area all day long in trucks and golf carts. They also live in about the middle of the lakeshore, though they seemed to be pretty quiet. There's a compost pile on the northwest corner of the CG that's pretty stinky.

Third is the campground. It would be smart to bring your own water, as the faucet was pretty comical (I'll try to add a picture). The StarLink wifi was pretty good in the first section of campsites. We barely got it at #17. Otherwise, there's no cell service or wifi. There were about three pairs of vault toilets that were kept pretty clean. There were new trash cans and recycling (apparently there are bears, though we didn't see one). The sites are grass with picnic tables and fire rings. There was wood for sale.

There's a trail from camp to town, which was maybe a mile. The campground is very close to Brockway Mt. Rd so if you have an ebike or are really strong, you can bike to the top of the mountain where the trails are. Flow trail was not in great shape. I thought the trails on the other side of the mountain were better. East Bluff trails were great. The first picnic area to the west on Hwy 26 has the best sunsets. Further west near Eagle Harbor would be better beaches, but swimming at the state park would be closer and warmer water. The campground is never full except for during the bike festival Labor Day weekend. I would park by the work building and ride your bike around to pick out a site. If you're a big class A, I would just ask in the building if you can park on the side of the road.

There's various wifi in town-the port coffee shop, the visitor center, etc. There's a dump station at the state park, $10, but it seemed awkwardly arranged, so you might want to look before you go use it.
