“Everyone's favorite stray dog”
Dammit the Dog got his name after a Tennessee Tech president referred to him as such on day.
Dammit was well-loved as the local campus stray back when TTU was still Dixie College. Today, a hydrant and a plaque mark his grave.

It's a really really bizarre offbeat attraction, but it's something I can guarantee most of your friends can't say they've visited. Right in the heart of campus. If you're in Cookville you have to take a picture like you're peeing on the hydrant.

Thus was a neat thing to see, was a little hard to find. It's located near the flag poll at the round about.
