“Tour the Secluded Coves and Canyons!”
This lake features secluded coves, canyons, and sandy beaches, excellent for camping, boating, and fishing. Explore by boat 11 miles of the Conchas River or 14 miles of the South Canadian River portions of the lake. With lakes and rivers, New Mexico is the place to find your adventure whether it be motorboating, sailing, kayaking, rafting or canoeing. Furthermore, Conchas Lake State Park also allows scuba diving and snorkeling in the lake! There are many State Parks that allow you to swim. Make sure to call the park directly for changes in designated waters and seasonal closures. We do not recommend cliff diving as New Mexico's terrain is very rocky in and out of water. Please remember to always where your life jackets!
