“The Oldest Bar West of the Missouri River”
National Historic site. Oldest continousley operated tavern west of the Missourii River, Circa 1876. Known to have been frequented by William " Buffalo Bill" Cody in the 1880's and the early 1900's. Business originated as the Bucher Saloon started by Swiss Immigrant brothers William and Joseph Bucher. Renamed Glur's Tavern in 1914 with Louis Glur taking over as proprietor.
