The campsite itself is very quiet and secluded but it’s next to a neighborhood and high school and close enough to town (Columbus) if you need anything.

Stopped here on the way to Texas to avoid bad weather south. Very peaceful. Had the whole place to ourselves. Pulled in with a 38 foot Toy Hauler. Might not be possible if the park was full. Right next to a Highway but it was not heavily traveled. Free 30amp hookup was much appreciated as the nights were in the teens and daytime highs in the 20’s.. Kicked back and listened to the geese fly north...sat by the electric fireplace and watched movies toasty warm.

By far the best Park I’ve ever stayed in for free. Also includes electrical! There are about 12 to 15 RV sites right on the water. Picnic tables, barbecues, electric hookups, trails, Fishing 30 feet from your site! What more could you ask for? Quiet and peaceful. Only about 7 miles off of Highway 30 near Columbus Nebraska. just a super nice park! Wish I had more than one night here :-)

Wow, just wow! Okay we DID have to drive by numerous corn fields to get there but once there we were blown away! The park is adjacent to a residential neighborhood and is connected via bicycle paths. Felt so spoiled! Had electricity, water available, no dump station. But what a beautiful a FREE park!

We tried to stop here on 6/4/2020 on our way through & the gate was closed & chained shut. We tried calling the number & got a recording that it's closed due to corona.

Decided to try this anyway, found the park to be open. There are 7 elec hook up sites. We did find a 30/50 amp hook up site, but mostly 30 amp hook up. Also it is free!!! Well maintained park. Pit toilets with no evening lights for night time use and water scattered thru the park. No direct hook up for water, but water is drinkable. Glad we decided to try anyway to see if maybe they were open, and it was. C-19 my have played a part in them being close back in June 2020, but it is open now.
