This place caught on fire and was burned down recently. I don't know if they will rebuild but it's a burned out husk for now. We have had good experiences the two times we visited. Read more

What the table ordered: (2 people) Elk rack with basil risotto, cajun shrimp & sausage carbonara, wedge salad with blue cheese and balsamic, bourbon butter bread (complimentary), hushpuppy-like balls (complimentary - and not their real name! :)) Cost of entire meal: $72.41 My 2 cents: First of all - apologies for the crappy photos (camera issues!). More importantly, I loved this place. The service staff were all very pleasant, and the whole place had a dimly-lit, uniquely decorated, Southern charm vibe. No complaints on the food, although I have to admit that it was my first time trying elk and I wasn't super impressed. I think this had more to do with the taste of elk itself, though, rather than the restaurant's preparation of the dish. The complimentary dishes were all very tasty, and the cajun carbonara had a full, spicy flavor. Also, the food came out in a very timely manner. The menu is a tad pricy, but I'd say it's definitely worth the money if you're willing to spend it. I truly loved this place, and the next time I'm in Columbus, Georgia (hmmm...) I plan to make another visit! Read more
