Rothschild - Pound House Inn

The house speaks of “old Columbus” with hospitality, warmth and casual charm. Travelers here will find inviting guest suites with period baths or Jacuzzi tubs, antiques, fireplaces and beautiful hardwood floors. Every room was designed with comfort and convenience in mind. Digital cable television with movie channels, stocked mini-refrigerators and in-room coffee makes each suite inviting. Suites that open onto a full private kitchen are available as well. Some suites also feature wet bars. Fresh flowers, original art and a great night’s sleep are standard at the Rothschild-Pound House. All rooms offer wireless Internet access. Each evening begins with beverages and gourmet cheeses in one of the main parlors. Often guests enjoy meeting and conversing before dining on the main house wrap-around porch. Or perhaps they would prefer to curl up with a good book and a cup of hot chocolate instead. Columbus attractions such as the Springer Opera House, Chattahoochee Riverwalk, Challenger Space Science Center, Fine Arts Complex, Olympic Softball Complex/Golden Park, Trade and Convention Center, New Civic Center, Central Business District and Government Center are all within walking distance. A complimentary Southern breakfast is offered daily. Guests enjoy  biscuits, gourmet grits, buttermilk pancake, fruit crepes and our famous Eggs Benedict. Breakfast is served 8-10 a.m. If you have an early commitment, just let us know the night before and we’ll make sure you get breakfast to suit your schedule. Interesting guests, good conversation and delicious food have brought many travelers here again and again. The guests who are more inclined to a quiet evening of work or relaxation find the Rothschild-Pound House very accommodating as well.
