We arrived at 8 pm after dinner rush. The actual RV spots behind the building are not big enough for towing a car or trailer. We parked across 3 spots since no one else was there. There are other areas in the parking lot if too long for the RV spots. We felt safe. With our windows closed and being behind the building, it was quiet enough for a restful sleep. Of course the Cracker Barrel dinner and breakfast were good as alway.
This is not a safe place to overnight. Surrounded on 3 sides (within short walking distance) by known high crime neighborhoods.
We were going to stay here. It was not easy to get our 29’ travel trailer parked, but we did it and ordered take out. We’re only there for an hour and a half Between 6pm and 7:30pm and got so creeped out we had to go. There was someone hanging around in the parking lot and digging through the dumpster. Someone else set off firecrackers in the parking lot beside Cracker Barrel and there was a lot of yelling all around. We didn’t feel safe going back and forth to the car. It was time to go.
This lot was just as expected. It was reasonably comfortable and safe. We are towing a 22 ft. trailer and did not have any problems accessing the RV parking. There were two other rigs staying the same night as us - both were much larger and stayed along the sides of the lot for more space. The area is rather loud with traffic but otherwise worked just fine for us. It’s also right across from a gas station, which was convenient. I would stay here again if needed.
Got here exhausted at 11pm. I was weary because of other reviews but thought, oh it can’t be that bad!!! Yep it is! Watched two guys tackled and arrested in front of our rig. Luckily I’m in a big class A and have dogs and protection.
At least I know the cops are around. Lol.
UPDATE. We arrived at 11. Saw guys being arrested. Was awoken at 1 am by a woman begging for money. Awoken again by shady dealings going on out of a car behind us. Left at 2am.
