Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on May 20, 2021Stayed one night on my way to Minot ND. It was late september and the river was very high.
They had a live band and sold cold beer at the little store there. Was very quite and nice being right on the river.

First the pros: Beautiful spot right on the Missouri River. We paid extra for river front but in mid-May, the place was fairly empty. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: There was basically no WiFi. Right next to the main building I was able to get logged in, but it took roughly 10-15 attempts, and as soon as you walked ~20 feet away, it was no longer available. The dump station was also closed and was told the hope was to have it open in the fall.
Due to the roads coming in from the west, disconnect any tows. Dirt and windy, but very pretty drive. Not recommended for larger RV’s IMO

We arrived just after it got dark. The staff was very friendly and helped us get settled in our spot. We made a fire and cooked our steaks and enjoyed the evening. Because of the weather the live music didn’t show, it was snowing two days later when we were leaving. We were the only people on our end of the campground and the sights were very nice, dirt and gravel. We’d love to go back, but the prices are way higher than most campgrounds in Missouri. For $62 a night I’ll get a motel 6.
