“Nested in the foothills of Coeur d'Alene”
For decades now the citizens in this part of the great northwest have been patronizing and singing the praises of the "great old steakhouse" just east of Coeur D'Alene. Wolf Lodge was established in 1939 starting out as a convenience store. It turned into a steakhouse around the 1970's Nested in the foothills, the Wolf Lodge East has provided it's customers with a taste of the Old West for several generations.

Confirmed by 5 users | Last reported on August 08, 2023My girlfriend and I stayed in a tenting spot here for a few nights. It was a quick drive to Silverwood, and it was nice to relax in the campground's pool after staying in several less-equipped campsites during our trip.
We stayed here for 5 days and used this as our sleeping spot while site-seeing in Coeur d'Alene. This campground has a lot to offer actually, although when pulling in I was not impressed. Once we settled in, we discovered the river/creek that allows for paddle boarding and kayaking, as well as fishing and wading (nice and cool.) The dog park was beyond expectations; quite large, shade cover with picnic table, brand new dog wash station, water spigot and giant steel bowl for water, some toys. There was a sizable area for little kids to play on equipment, the laundry cost $2.00/wash & $.50/10 min of dryer and was clean! Huge grassy yard for corn hole, horseshoes, frisbee! Site was gravel, and not level but shady and lots of trees and pretty flowers. Very well kept place! HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Wolf Lodge Inn for the BEST STEAK DINNER. Pricey but totally worth it! Went 2X! (Closed Mon/Tues) 5 stars all around! Staff excellent; some I-90 noise... we kept fans and A/C blowers on entire time to drown out traffic.
Small places, not a very friendly welcome and the highway is to nearby. With al the options here in Coeur d'alene I won't recommend this site.
We stayed here in a travel trailer for the last leg of our trip to Montana, and I liked it. The grounds are well kept and I felt like my dogs had enough room to relax. The freeway is close, but we didn't notice it too much.
Sorry about cutting off. It was far from peaceful with the highway so close I felt like a semi was going to barrel into our tent at any moment.
We stayed here a couple of nights and it was clean, well maintained and the people were great. It is a perfect spot if you are looking to just set up for a few hours of sleep and head out again, but far from
Would come here again! New ownership have really turned this place around! Clean and well organized. Busy place but they’ve put a lot of love into their park. They are just off I90 which makes them easy to find. But does make a bit of noise, you can deal with it when the place is nice tho.
We’d stay here again!

We stayed here the weekend before Memorial Day and had a blast. This was the first place we found that was open after all this COVID business and it is also the first place we brought our new RV for its shakedown Cruise. Coeur d’Alene is a cute town, we went to Higgins point for some sightseeing and a little hike but spent most of the time at the campground. Wolf Lodge RV Park is a great place for getting your bearings with your RV, hooking up to full hookups or just Water/electric. It’s a easy going environment where you have the chance to practice a little bit and figure out how set up and break down works best for you. We will definitely come back here when passing through Idaho again.

My kids loved this place two playgrounds, canoes, kayaks, and bikes! Nightly fires at 7. Great view from our site. Only a 10min drive into Couer d’Alene. Hiking and great bike riding even closer. Can be a little noisy as it is right next to the highway.

Convenient location right by the highway which adds road noise but nice view of mountains. They let us checkin without contact which kept stay covid safe. Only stayed one night so didn’t use amenities.
