“a high degree of creativity and craftsmanship”
The Art Spirit is a fine art and fine craft gallery located in downtown Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The gallery features original work by established artists from the northwest region and emerging artists. The artwork consistently has a high degree of creativity and craftsmanship across a wide variety of mediums and styles. Each month the gallery is repainted and hung with a new show of original work, creating a changing and vibrant art environment. In addition to the 2 floors of exhibition space, there is a beautiful rubble stone basement with several hundred pieces of inventory. The gallery promotes local arts and culture, actively participating in community awareness and participation in the arts. Each month, the gallery is rehung with a new featured artist or invitational show of original work, creating a changing and vibrant art environment. Most of these shows are scheduled a few years in advance, giving the artists time to build a new body of creative work. Opening receptions are generally held on the 2nd Friday of the month in conjunction with the Coeur d'Alene Downtown Art Walk.
