We just returned from a trip to Yellowstone and stayed in this campground at spots #4 and #5. What a fantastic place to stay just outside of the east park entrance. The camp host was friendly and helpful. He works hard to keep the area nice and the vault toilets clean.

This is a small campground, so there was little noise or distraction from our neighbors. It's set off the road, so we didn't hear any traffic noise. Actually, the only noise we had really was the rushing Shoshone River just outside our tents. Although grizzly country, there hasn't been a sighting in many years near this campground. We did, however, have a buffalo wander into camp one night/early morning. We also saw a bald eagle each morning.

The campground is conveniently located just about 1/2 way between Yellowstone and Cody. The traffic was not heavy and we could usually move at the speed limit unless we got behind a large travel trailer.

We were looking for a place after our Yellowstone Park stay. This was the perfect quiet place with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Camp host was awesome older gentleman who had lots of useful information about the area.
