Room was dirty. No breakfast provided. Rooms look nothing like picture on this site. Bathroom was filthy. Windows didn't lock. No a/c. $179 dollars for one of the worst nights sleep ever.

I would first like to say the lady I we worked with was nice, very helpful and kin. However, the place is not as advertised and they know it isn't per the note in the "apartment" we stayed.

Now, onto the actual place. First, it is no longer a bed and breakfast (which was what we expected when we booked!), so keep that in mind. There is the house with several rooms, that have people who live there all summer, then a '50's motel attached with several rooms and then a few camping spots in the parking area.

Upon our arrival we were greeted warmly and shown to our "apartment." It was one of the old motel rooms. The room had 2 full beds, one completely against the wall so it was difficult to get into the bed...worried there would be spiders crawling on me all night! The room was very dingy and old. The bedding did not match, which did not matter, but is an example of the care of the motel. The carpet in the restroom was dirty looking and the tub/shower and sink were so disgusting that we chose not to use them at all. It really was gross.

We were upset that we had paid for a bed and breakfast with a "home cooked breakfast," ended up with an OLD motel room and no food at all. The cost did not reflect the accommodations. After coming home and reading reviews from as far back a s 2008, it is obvious this in NOT a bed and breakfast. Shouldn't that part of the advertising be dropped?
