NO IMAGE Welcome to Archaic Adventures; Florida’s first archaeotourism company. Join us for a day along the pristine shores of Canaveral National Seashore where we’ll experience ancient landscapes of prehistoric Florida. We’ll visit Turtle Mound; the largest shell mound in the nation; along with Seminole Rest and Castle Windy; both shell mounds along Mosquito Lagoon where we’ll explore Native American culture. At Eldora Statehouse we’ll see how early pioneers lived as we enjoy a light gourmet lunch provided by Caffe Chocolate. We’ll end our trip at one of the premiere wildlife refuges in the country; Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. Tours depart from and return to world-famous Dixie Crossroads Restaurant in Titusville so you can top off your day with a delicious dinner of fresh local seafood. Tours run from October through May.
