Historic Bell Hill Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of Shawnee Hills Wine Country, and presents the most breath-taking panoramic views imaginable.  Our Historic Bed & Breakfast is nestled in the Shawnee National Forest, and makes the perfect place for a romantic getaway.  This “home away from home” is a true southern belle.  Our mission is to ensure your time with us brings you the utmost in relaxation!  One may enjoy the tranquility of sipping a local wine on the balcony, while watching the sunset highlight the Bald Knob Cross in the distance.  Our recently landscaped patio offers serene places to drink your coffee, read a book, or watch the deer grazing nearby.  In the morning, you will dine on fine china enjoying a delicious southern style breakfast.  You may choose to head out to the nearby wineries (Alto Vineyards, Lincoln Heritage, Rustle Hill, Star View, Blue Sky, or any of the other Southern IL Wineries located on the Shawnee Wine Trail).  Plan a hike through the towering limestone bluffs of majestic Giant City Park, the Little Grand Canyon, or the Garden of the Gods.  Other activities include horseback riding, fishing, visiting the Cache River Wetlands (great for canoeing and bird watching), water-skiing, and swimming.  One might enjoy stopping by the local antique shops, biking, or running the River to River Marathon.
