Easy spot to post up for the night on I-10, big rigs and RV's are welcome and the nice thing about the casino is that there isn't a hotel on property like some of the other close-by spots.
The biggest draw back is the fact that the RV lot is right off the I-10 and there is another freeway merging on the other side of the property so bring your earplugs cause it is a bit loud.
No need to register, just pull around to the North East part of the lot and follow the guidelines published on the signs as you enter the lot.
We ended up making a decision to stay here as a last minute thing and we were glad we did. After spending a week at Joshua Tree South we were happy to be on level ground again. There is a lot of road noise to deal with as it is right next to I10 but it wasn't enough to keep us up at night, but I did use a pair of foam rubber ear plugs. There are a lot of other campers as well as truckers in the parking lot which is all the way around the back of the casino but we still had no trouble finding a spot to park . It's very nice of the casino to offer their facilities. You are allowed to stay overnight but not more than that. We felt safe and secure and would certainly come back again.
It’s tucked in between the casino and the semis. It’s right beside highway so like suggested in other reviews, bring ear plugs!
This was a nice spot to park for the night. The parking areas for RVs and semi-trucks are separate and clearly marked—very organized. Unfortunately the semi-truck area filled up later in the night so some rigs ended up parking in the RV parking area which is totally understandable. Many of them left their engines running all night. I would advise parking at the opposite end of the parking area of the semi-truck parking to avoid having semi-trucks right outside your window. And bring earplugs.
Bring ear plugs or noise canceling headphones road noise was extremely irritating!
We've stayed here on about 3 different occasions. Always several RVs with slides and jacks out. Great easy stop over for the night and a bite to eat.
Nice spot for an overnight stop. No problems. Some road noise but we’ve heard worse boondocking at a truck stop! All in all it suited our needs and we felt safe here. Would definitely return and recommend.
We stayed here 6-16-20; due to COVID you will be met by security for temperature check before you can proceed to the lot.
The lot is entirely paved and patrolled by security. They assign RV rules to try and keep motorhomes and BIg Rigs separate - we had no issues.
Masks are required when walking around the casino - Jems Cafe has a really good filet mingon burger and Ahi tacos
Large lot in back of the casino. Plenty of room for big rigs - we had jacks down, slides out, no problem. Good AT&T signal. Some noise from I-10, but way better than many rest stops we’ve stopped at.
This spot isn’t for everyone, but we loved it. Slept amazing. The white noise from cars on the highway sounded like one long train, which we both find super relaxing. The area is well lit, patrolled, and has several trash bins that are emptied regularly. The lot is huge, so there is plenty of space for slide outs and awnings.
We came here specifically to ride out a very bad wind storm. The huge lot allowed us to park facing into the wind and use commercial trucks to block the gusts. Our cat is fascinated by semi trucks, so he also enjoyed this spot. We’d definitely stay here again, even if there wasn’t a wind storm.
