Edit: there are two campsites in the park. I stayed at Yucca, the tent site which has no hookups and vault toilets. This was awful. I drove to the rv loop to brush my teeth in the morning and it would probably be a better experience there.

The campground is right next to a major highway so it’s loud. The bathroom near the site I booked had two vault toilets, neither of which locked. For the fees, it’s not worth camping at. The lakes are beautiful but I would not come here again.
Lathrop State Park is Colorado's first stat park and includes 1,594 acres at the base of Spanish Peaks in Southern Colorado. The Park's two lakes offer a variety of recreational activities including boating, fishing, water skiing, sailing boating, swimming, hiking, biking and wildlife viewing.
