Directions from Pacific City: Travel north on designated Scenic Route for six miles to the Sand Lake Recreation Area, where the campground is located. My family camps here every Labor Day weekend for the past ten years. Now we are bringing the grandkids. Campground is very large and has clean restrooms along many garbage dumps throughout campground. No hook-ups and no cell service. Very loud due to ORV’s which is why most come here. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is not the campground for you.
