We chose this place for a family camping vacation so needed full hookups for cooking and cleanup. Very clean and sites have a good amount of space between them. River runs along one edge of the park with good swimming and rafting. Only a few minutes drive to Graeagle and great hiking at the Lakes Basin area, and Plumas Eureka State Park. We paid $50 a night with a 10% discount (AAA, AARP, Good Sams and Military). There is a $2 per night additional charge for pets. It was quite noisy on the weekend when the Park was full, but that is usual anywhere during high summer. A word of warning that they book up a year in advance for the best spots on the river in July and August. Another note - no tents allowed anywhere in the park.

We reserved by random and stayed 3 nights They staff was very nice and the large pea graveled sites were raked and wiped down (Covid process) . Paved roads through the campground. Very close to Graeagle and right on a stream. Good fishing area. Deer running through the campground.
This campground was very clean and beautiful.
Good Wi-Fi and cable coverage

One of our favorite all time RV resorts! Well forested campground with plenty of personal space (in premium spots only - normal spots seem to have about half the personal space). Very dog friendly with a large, well maintained and fenced in dog park. Beautiful creek/river runs along the full side of the RV park and can be easily accessed from nearly all adjacent parking spots. Nearby towns of Graengle and Portola are fantastic - adorable small towns with historic tourist focused shops and restaurants. There are tons of lakes nearby, many with waterfalls and they only require a short, relatively easy hike too. Staff is very friendly here and sites are well maintained, but it never felt overbearing or nosy, as is so often the case as most well maintained RV parks. Even the free wifi is solidly useable for all but streaming. We've stayed at dozens of RV parks across the country, and this spot is absolutely in our top 5 all time!

The RV park was in a wooded area with pine trees, asphalt roads, and gravel and dirt sites. I did see some concrete sites, too. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick; got a map and was on my way. The grounds were kept clean. Our site had a couple deeper holes in the dirt, which were a little inconvenient, and there was a little issue with some tree irrigation continuously running that made the area muddy. The staff turned the water off when I brought it to their attention. There was a playground for the little kids, a rec area for the big "kids", and river access. There were a lot of people walking dogs and kids riding bikes on the roads. The river access went to a small beach area; it was very quiet and only a couple other people there. The beach and the playground were the best part for us with little kids. This RV park seemed like more of a launchpad for river activities like kayaking, rafting, tubing, rather than a hang-out by the river environment. People were driving off in trucks with their water toys all loaded up. There were no issues with the hookups. The wi-fi was undependable and worked okay on occasion.

It's very clean and well cared for. It's right on the river and near so many lakes and hiking trails. There's 2 nice dog areas (One is completely fenced), LOTS to do at this campground. Very family friendly. THEY EVEN HELP YOU BACK INTO YOUR SITE!!!! We stay at this campground at least 3 times a year. It's only 1 1/2 hours from Lake Tahoe, NV!!!!

Rivers Edge is a nicely laid out park with decent distance between each space. The entire property is kept immaculately clean and laid out to walk and enjoy. There is access to the river from several locations, a dog park and a short walk to the town of Clio's for some coffee or pizza. We found the staff to be friendly in both the office and around the park. The electricity was clean (I use a Progressive Industries Surge Protector / Monitor) during the entire stay. There is water/sewer and cable hook ups. Cable is not high definition. There is reasonably fast free WiFi available at most sites.

Booked our 26' trailer in a site that would take UP to a 26'. Never again. Next time, we'll select a larger pad site. Learned this from other campers here. Took us forever to back in so we wouldn't hit a tree or the electrical box or slipping down the slope behind our trailer's wheels. We took turns to get the camper in straight and had two of the grounds staff guiding us in. Once in our site, it was awesome! Our site on the other side of the pad was HUGE. We did have some other campers hang their hammock on our site, but we're all friendly here and it's all good! If you plan to eat at a local restaurant, make sure and make a reservation. We didn't and couldn't get in. The cell signal was decent. Washers were $1.50, dryers $1.00. Site was on a slope with a drop-off in the back, would not recommend a 26' trailer in this spot. Probably 22-24' max in this site. We had a very sleepy section of the park where there were mostly seasonal spots. Would prefer over by the river next time. Lots of kids, bike trail, river, adult play area. Would recommend bringing your fishing gear, kayaks, SUP, and tubes for the water. Tons of trails and hiking nearby in Lakes Basin. The best hike ever was the one we saw 5 lakes. Amazing views!

We arrived after dark. Camp post left out an envelope with our site information and map. It was great we got parked hooked up and was very happy with our site. We really enjoyed the park and look forward to coming back again soon.
