Hargus RV Park

We called earlier in the day to see how long they would be open they told us six got there at 5:40 and the office was closed.. point is we called they weren’t open when they said they were so now we have to drive another 40 Miles to a different camp site... also wasn’t a very nice area anyway.

Easy check-in over the phone. Sites are level gravel on 3 different levels. We were the only transient in the park, looked like there were 8 or so long term residents. The long termers kept their sites looking good. Graasy areas were mowed and weed free with no sand spurs!!! The dog was happy about that! Due to Covid issues did not access showers, laundry, etc. Would stay here again!

Since we are in a Vintage airstream we try not to use our shower as much as some one who has a full size bath. This park is nice enough for an overnight to stay in. The sites for transit are pull thru and have nice separation with trees. The bathrooms and showers were gross. If you do not need the showers or restroom I would stay here. If you need those, look for some where else. Road noise from I-40 loud.

This is an older RV park. Very few campers here. Mostly long timers. Infrastructure not very well maintained but the park is clean and easy to get to. Had to try several sites to find water and sewer working.
