Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on May 02, 2020I pulled into this campground for a couple days but quickly added a week. My first 2 nights were using Passport America, the extra week was $200 plus tax. The owners, Sue & Mike were fantastic; always around and helpful with directions, etc. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the cell service was almost non-existent. AT&T was absolutely nothing and Verizon with a cell booster was 1 bar and occasionally the service was totally out.
This campground was so quiet you could hear yourself breath, it was fantastic. The grounds were mostly rocks and dirt. I stayed in site 36 right behind the entrance sign. It was the closest site to the main road and occasionally the traffic on this country road was loud but mostly quiet. Out my RV door I had a little yard with trees for shade and the ground was like broken-down mulch. My dog loved this space and spent most of the days outside.
The laundry room and bathroom were closed for renovations and there were really no other amenities there. There a tiny pond but no seating so it's just a quick look. There are many seasonal or permanent residents there but everyone is nice. I'd definitely stay there again.
Other notes: no open fires (propane fire pits are fine) and no firearms allowed. Free (secure) wifi is located in 2 areas but streaming is not permitted. Propane is sold right in the park.

We really enjoyed this neat little campground, very quiet and serene. Our spot was between the trees and a bit tight to get into for us newbies, luckily the owners saw us struggle and guided us in. The owner are absolute sweethearts and made us feel very welcome. The site was very private and had a large area between the trees for us to set up our chairs and table, our doggy loved it. We explored the town and walked over to the cemetery. The town felt a bit odd to us, some homes were very clean and tidy and others were a complete mess. No stores were open because of the SIP. The cell service was not great but they had wifi and that was enough for us.

We had to reroute to this road. This was a great stop. Helpful owners. Doing lots of work/upgrades. Quiet. Right next to national forest.
