Enjoyed this quiet campground during our stay in early August. We camped on site 19 with our teardrop camper. The site was roomy although setting up an extra tent was a bit of a challenge due to the ground being very rock and huge bolders buried just a couple of inches under the ground. Electric hookup was available and both 30 amp and 20 amp service worked well during our stay. Putting in ground stakes to anchor things down was challenging on this site. The shower and bathroom facilities were nice and clean. Maybe a little on the small side for the size of the campground but it was not at capacity during our stay. Campground also had volleyball nets, basketball court, and cornhole available. Verizon 4G LTE was available but service was pretty slow being on an MVNO (Visible Wireless). Less than 1 MBps up and down during our stay unless very late at night and early in the morning. Raccoons are abundant here and they worked very hard to take our food in the middle of the night. Sometimes brave enough to come within 5 feet of me at night trying to get into our cooler while i was reading beside it. Secure your things well and you'll be fine.

Stayed for about 3 hours here after awaking to 20-30mph gusts at midnight and our tent on top of us. No way to avoid it based on wind direction although a lot of larger tents were still standing when we left to get a hotel in nearby Claremore. Do know that campground requires reservation which we didn't realize but the attendant was nice enough to help us get a site taken care of. Would camp again but with a reservation and less wind. Sunset was pretty over the lake.

We stayed one pleasant night while traveling across Oklahoma. The campground was nearly full on a Tuesday evening. The campground appears to be well maintained and the campground hosts were friendly and helpful.

This is nothing less than 5 stars!!!! As a full-timer, we camp all over and this COE is well-kept, has friendly hosts and you can't beat your location, regardless of your site. Yes, there may be wind, yes, you may have to level a bit, or put mattress pads on your tent sites. But, you can't beat this slice of heaven!!!! Lots of games, including a permanent cornhole game!!! You can dump on the way in, or out and fill up with fresh water. Also, the best sunrises and sunsets ever! 5 stars!!!!!

We came for a night and stayed for 3. We were a little concerned when we arrived, because there was no attendant at the gate. We didn't know about the online only reservations. After about thirty minutes of anxiety, lee figured out the app. We got a lakeside site with electricity. Aside from the smoldering wood in the fire pit and the dog poop, it was more than we expected.
