Summit Lake

Located on Summit Lake about three miles west of the Warm Springs Indian Reservation, Summit Lake Campground offers five camp sites at 4,200 feet elevation. The campground is accessible from Forest Road 4200-141, and activities include fishing and boating in Summit Lake. Directions from Hood River: Travel south on Highway 35 across the forest boundary and approximately an additional 18-20 miles to Highway 26. Follow 26 south approximately eight miles to Primary Forest Route 42. Follow 42 south through the Warm Springs Indian Reservation and back into the national forest. Continue on 42 to Forest Road 4200-141. Follow 4200-141 west about one mile to the campground.
