“A truly extensive hiking system”
125-acre Stanbery Park features one of the city’s most extensive hiking trail systems amid streams and acres of woodlands. It also offers a civic green and walkway, play areas, and one of Cincinnati’s premier sledding hills. Stanbery is ideal for picnics, band concerts and community gatherings. Certain areas of Stanbery Park will be closed this fall and winter for park maintenance and natural resource management projects. The public is asked to observe the "Trail Closed" and "Park Area Closed" signs posted in the park.
Tucked away from the suburbs of Mount Washington, this place doesn't get enough credit. They have a great playground and nature camps for kids. There are plenty of trails to get lost on in the woods. The place is beautiful for a winter hike.
