“a friendly neighbourhood joint.”
The Echo is a friendly neighborhood joint that takes pride in serving home-cooked, hearty fare at reasonable prices. We’ve been around for decades—and welcome the chance to serve generations of Cincinnati families and newcomers alike. We’ve evolved over the years (read Our History for more information), expanded our menu, and even added a liquor license recently, but our commitment to serving excellent food at a fair price with a friendly smile remains unchanged.
Really cool spot, has a counter you can sit at that stretches across the room, great breakfast spot but is PACKED on the weekends. I suggest the businessman's special or Bonnie's bounty
Everything is salty and greasy and delicious, which means it's great for Saturday or Sunday morning! Great location and good service!
Where has this place been all my life? The menu heavily features goetta, which I love. The toast is really good too. And the bacon. And the waffles. Plus the atmosphere is great. Friendly servers, old school feel. All around awesome place
There are no reservations and nobody to seat you. Just grab an open table or a spot on the booth and enjoy a great breakfast.
Delicious waffles and home fries. I normally go here early morning (6:00am) during the weekdays, and it's always fun to see the regulars. Service has always been phenomenal! Friendly staff that always makes things right. I love the griddle breakfast, Bonnie's Bounty, and Kris' Healthy Start. Well worth the prices.
So I'm writing another review because I went here early on a weekday for the first time and it was phenomenal - without the crowd it felt like a different place. Love it on the weekends, love it during the week, definitely need to check it out
This local diner is a great neighborhood fixture that has a homey atmosphere. The food is delicious, the servers / kitchen staff are very friendly, and the variety of menu items are all worth trying. I personally frequent this spot for breakfast and my go to items are the Eggs Benedict with Goetta or the Businessman's Special. If you're a coffee drinker, the staff is always on their game with top off's and will give you a cup togo if desired. I guess it's the simplicity of things that attract me to this place the most, not to mention they have a full bar. Can you say kegs n' eggs on game day!?
Great food and great service! And don't just feel like it's a breakfast place - their lunch is awesome too. I definitely recommend a milkshake!
Echo is a staple - it was one of the first places I went to when I moved here. It's packed out the door, down the street on weekends, so get up early and grab a spot at the diner counter. You won't be sorry
Kind of cool, old school diner feel. Definitely a low key spot, nice to pop in and sit at the counter for a quick breakfast that'll stick to your ribs.
