“Lots of great coffee & live music”
Come first for the coffee, tea and pastries, sure, but we hope you'll continue to come back for the community. That is, the community you'll find at our coffeehouse: a wonderful group of people diverse in every way. For the local community, who benefit from our profits, and also for the global community, improved by our exclusive use of Fair Trade coffee. Who knew that a cup of joe could bring so many together? Come on in and see for yourself. We not only want to make a better cup of coffee than you'll find anywhere, we want to make the world better. We try our best to do this by serving only the finest coffee that conforms to Fair Trade and organically grown standards. If this means traveling to Guatemala to hand select the beans, we do so. Our coffee is always fresh, too. In fact, every coffee bean used and sold at the café is roasted the same week. Our baristas then take it to the next level, creating memorable, distinctive drinks with artful precision. We expect that you will find our presentation and service to be the exclamation points to our quality.Rohs Street Café was founded in 2003 by University Christian Church as a not-for-profit business to provide the community a space for gathering and dialogue. We want our café to bring people together in a way that fosters friendship, idea sharing and mutual respect.
