Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on September 15, 2023I want to love this place, and if it wasn't for all the big rigs with their blaring outdoor televisions and groups of people crowded around yelling obscenities on NFL Sunday, I would. I reported my neighbors to the front desk to no avail. There are no policies against having outdoor televisions and apparently there are quite a few people who have no qualms about making their life and experience be your experience.
But if you don't mind that kind of thing, the grounds are gorgeous, the space is wide but expensive, the pool is amazing--heated salt water with a dedicated lap swim lane. Two jacuzzis, two dog parks and right on the green belt access so you can walk to a marina. Nice laundry room.
The staff is wonderful and they keep the grounds beautiful. Again I would love to stay here again sometime but it's not worth the price to listen to somebody else's television all day long.

We stayed here in our 38' motorhome with toad. We had a great level site. We were right on the preserve and had a view of the bay. Nice bike trail. The resort had a fun bar right at the pool, lots of activities and very nice staff.

Sun Outdoor is a very new resort in Chula Vista. The entrance is gated. 2pm check in is controller via the closed gate. The attendants are cheerful and helpful. When I arrived at 2pm there were three people conducting check in. All were wearing masks. They provided a wristband that opened the gates, showers and laundry. The laundry machines require payment via a phone app. It was painless. The resort's sites are beautiful, concrete pads, gravel landscape, gas fire pits, lawn furniture, awesome. There's a market, pool, activity rooms, all new, clean, attractive. Wifi worked well for me. I had 4-bar, 5G AT&T service.

This place was fantastic! It was amazingly clean and organized. Every single person on the staff we encountered was as pleasant as can be. We loved the two dog parks and the pool area. We will definitely be coming back here in the future. One thing to note, our Verizon signal was only 1 bar on 5G. I’m not sure if LTE would have better or not but the WiFi was great so it didn’t matter much.

This park is very nice. Spots are huge, clean and full hook ups. We stayed here for our first 2 weeks of full time. Made the transition from sticks and bricks to RV easy. It’s so quiet here in the Winter. Nice clean dog parks, facilities. Can’t wait to stay again. Just pricey though.

Spaces are at 90* to narrow road. If open drive in the wrong way and use lot across street for backing. Resort has everything kids love. There is no shade and it’s sterile. After 20yrs going to Chula Vista rv resort this is a let down.

I stayed for six nights in spring and loved it. The resort itself has so many amenities, is beautiful and looks brand new, and the staff are extremely helpful. daily activities for kids and adults, over the weekend we were there we enjoyed the DJ by the pool, propane delivered to our site for the firepit, got drinks and food at the cafe/bar (which they will deliver to your site or poolside!!). This would be a perfect place to visit with friends or family and kids. Weekend was busy but during the week it was super quiet and you had the whole pool to yourself. And right next to a walking and bike path we used, living coast museum, and public transit to San Diego. Can’t wait to visit again.

I stayed 7 nights in September. The weekends are full and busy, but it was still quiet at night and it seemed like a good crowd that was visiting. There are a lot of activities for kids, the pool is definitely resort quality, the food was all really good, and the drinks were good. It is not cheap, but it was worth it for me. I was able to visit the surrounding area without much problem; the only frustrating part was the traffic…it seems like you are driving with all the heavy traffic if you are going into San Diego in the mornings and back to the resort in the evenings.
I had a premium site. It was level, concrete, and spacious. The site came with a table, chairs, fire pit, and Adirondack chairs. Propane is provided as an included amenity for the premium sites, which was a nice touch. I would stay here again.
