This was a convenient location for visiting the Astoria and Cape Disappointment areas, and it was much quieter than the Oregon side of the river. My $36 daily rate reflects a $255 weekly rate.
The owner and the camp host were very efficient and friendly, but the campground left much to be desired. The property itself was very narrow, wedged between the highway and the hill behind. The sites were very short and the road narrow, so it took a great deal of maneuvering to be able to back in. There was no room to park the truck at the site. Most of the sites were occupied by permanent residents, and I was situated between two old buses, one very dilapidated and the other with no license plates.
My site was no more than 40 ft from the highway, and the daytime noise was incessant and intrusive, particularly with big logging and rock-hauling trucks.
Verizon 4G was adequate, with 2 bars, -105 dB, 7 Mbps down and 6 up.

Recently we explored Astoria, Oregon and the state and national park locations in the neighboring areas in Oregon and Washington state. We made reservations to stay at RV Park at the Bridge RV Park and are so happy we did. The RV Park is uniquely situated just over the Washington side of the bridge between Astoria, OR and Chinook, WA. From many of the sites you have a clear view of the bay and the bridge. It is right along the water which also means the road heading west from the bridge to the adorable beach towns runs right by the Park. That said, we heard very little car noise in the evenings as all the towns to the west are very small so traffic rarely heads that way at night.
Theresa, who manages the front desk and reservations, was super hospitable and helpful. She was communicative and went out of her way to help when I needed to print something. At check-in Theresa also provided a list of things to do and see along with the usual Camp rules and map. This was super helpful - especially since each town has its own (dog friendly) farmers markets on a different day - we would have missed them. The property includes tables and chairs set up on the hillside on the back side of the Camp. These provide excellent views of the water and bridge and are perfect for relaxing in the evening with a nice beverage and maybe a cheese plate.
The laundry room has a coded locked door, is very easy to access, was super clean and the cost was the lowest we've seen while traveling ($1.50/ washer load, $1.00 for drying). Amazing! There were also two soaking sinks in the laundry room in case you need to hand wash or stain treat something. There were also bathrooms with coded locked doors, however I did not use them so have no information on them.
Ultimately, the location was ideal for us to enjoy sites in both Oregon and Washington. Theresa was wonderful and made sure we were happy throughout our stay. The view and the little picnic nooks were an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Called this place as many other campgrounds in the area were full. Although the owner was tight on space she was able to squeeze us in, along the creek in the back. The campground hosts were extremely kind and helped us find our site even after normal business hours. The owner even stopped by later to chat with us and again was so friendly and kind. The campground has a great view of the lake. Clean bathrooms, my only suggestion would be a better changing area for the shower/ a place to put things while you are showering. Would stay here again!

Great spot to visit Astoria and surrounding areas. It is a small park and sites are on the smaller side. Depending on where you are located there may be road noise as it really is tucked right between the road and the hillside. Staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind. Bathrooms super clean, new, and well cared for. We lucked out with the last little spot next to the creek and a little park like area and it was just delightful. Location really can’t be beat. Not all the sites are scenic- most are just tight gravel spots, but I’m rating on the higher side because of the amazing spot we had!

We enjoyed our stay here. We were in the front row facing the river, with fantastic views of the bridge and across the water to Astoria. Since we were nearest the road, there was traffic noise, but we thought the view was worth it. The park is very well maintained. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Sites have gravel parking pads with grass and a picnic table. All utilities were in good working order. The laundry was spotless and well-equipped. We had good T-Mobile signal. We didn’t use the WiFi. This is an older park and turns can be tight for larger rigs, but the hosts will guide you expertly to and from your site. The park is close to Astoria, and there are some historic forts and lighthouses within an easy drive. We’d definately stay here again.
