We had a campsite with full hook ups but we had to position our trailer so the hookups were on the passenger side to take advantage of better view. We used an adjoining empty campsite to make the U turn. We camped when the temps were 101 and 102 for all three days. Campgrounds were spacious and didn’t feel we were on top of each other. The County run their sprinklers at night so be mindful of chairs and bikes parked out in the grass area. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a pure convenience play for us. This was a campground close to where we picked up our Airstream, when we bought it so we wanted to be near in case anything went wrong in our first few days. We also needed to pick up our things from San Diego, so this was convenient. The location is convenient to shopping and freeways to get around the Orange County or Inland Empire area.
The park is quite large and has a lake and disc golf area. It's not the most scenic of spots, and you can hear the PA system from one of the prisons in the area. It was very windy while we were here.
There are large, paved pull through sites with full hookups. Well spaced from neighbors.
There were lots of bugs while we were here in June. Too many for us to really sit out and be comfortable. Also it was too windy to have awnings out. There are a few peacocks roaming the park.

Nice quick little getaway for local residents or if you’re visiting someone in the Chino area. All campsites are full hook up. Lake seem to have a good fishing there were many fishermen cat Fisher stock during the summer months. CONS: watch out for the pincher bugs and prepare your rest up for some ants.

Area is completely overrrun by ants. Literally campers with barriers of borax around them. All the trashcans are overflowing, the bathrooms are absolutely gross. Non of the toilets work, showers are completely infested with bugs. If u set your towel down your likely to no want to pick it up as it will be completely covered with earwigs and ants. The grounds aren’t taken care of at all. Would not recomend at all. Also there is a gun range directly across the street so your likely to hear nothing. But gunshots all day if your trying to relax.

Can’t say enough good things about this park, dog friendly, many walking trails, disc golfing, off roading track for toys, little lake (no swimming right now due to algae) but still nice to look at. Equestrian trails and barn, full hook up with dump in sites, tent camping areas, lots of picnic tables, and the staff is friendly and change trash cans every single day. Park staff is always driving around, police drive through the park regularly and they have gated coded entrance. Really nice family park with beautiful playground and well maintained. My husband, dogs and I really enjoyed ourselves & I could see us definitely visiting again maybe even soon that’s how much we loved it.

I'm shocked only one review mentions the gunfire from the shooting range next door. It starts at 7 AM and goes all day, so it is not a relaxing place to be, and will keep me from going there again. Also, no one mentioned the smell of cow manure from nearby feedlots that wafts over occasionally with the wind. I do see mention of the women's prison, and our site had a nice view of the guard lights and an occasional blast of an announcement.
Our site was on the edge of the park and had lots of room away from other campers. But watch out for your little dogs! I heard at least 2 packs of coyotes celebrating their kills on one night.
The park does have lots of activities that families might enjoy. Kids were biking around the campground, there was lots of fishing, interesting bird-watching, and they do have the disc golf, equestrian center and other activities nearby. We drove to a nearby park to play pickleball with local friends. It's an easy drive from LA and could be a nice family retreat for someone who doesn't have much space at home, or who is visiting someone in the area. Hookups were a luxury since I usually boondock, but they were on the wrong side for our door to face the campsite so we had to turn around when we left in order to dump the tanks (short hoses).

This is close to Palm Springs so we will come back. There are plenty of activities here. I wish we picked a site that has trees/shade.

We spent a week camped at Prado to be near to family in semi-close Arcadia (close is a flexible term when accounting for LA area traffic), and our FHU site was easy to get into and utilities were easily reached and worked fine. This campground feels a bit older with trees that could use some trimming, narrow one-way roads, and some of the site layouts could have used more foresight. Our pull through site faced the single lane road instead of the open green space on the driver’s side, so while we had some privacy, it could have been better and some sites are better than others. There is also an equestrian area (along with trails, lake, playground, etc), and most days the wind blew in a direction that carried some pretty awful smells (maybe it was more than the horses?). While I don’t normally complain about the wind, we experienced plenty while there, and while that alone isn’t a unique problem, the dry exposed ground is. It was hard to go outside without getting covered in dirt, and along with the smell… it was a little gross. On the plus side, this is a very pretty natural camping setting with spacious, level sites that are mostly big rig friendly.
Town and all the needed amenities aren’t very far away, and while it’s pricey for a city/county/state park ($40 a night (non-holiday) plus a $7 fee), such is the case in the LA area in general. There is plenty of space to walk a dog, and our Verizon service worked well without the booster. I also see another reviewer complained about gun fire from the nearby range, we could hear it when we were outside, but it wasn't particularly loud. There was also some construction going on in the park during the day, but overall, the park was really pretty quiet even on a weekend. All the negatives accounted for, Prado still offers a quiet park style respite from the surrounding city stuff, and we would stay here again.

We have had a few vintage trailer rallies here , love it it’s close to home and close to everything. Grocery stores near by , fishing , frisbee golf , horse back riding , golf course , shooting range and trails to hike all near by , some people point out the shooting range sound I think it’s relaxing being a military veteran. And ( you barely hear it) . It’s always a go to for our family and friends sites are clean restrooms with showers too . And summer nights bring out tons of tree frogs . I would get be it 10 stars if I could
