Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 17, 2021We were right next to the freeway and the traffic noise was significant. The site was ok. It is a dirt sight with a lot of sand. You’ll need blocks under your levelers. Our neighbors were long time people and a little weird. We had electric and water, no sewer but there is a dump station. The restaurant was closed while we were there.

After we were "forced" away from our intended campground due to a small forest fire we were fortunate to find availability at Melita's Highway 97 RV Park. We had to have some repairs done on our truck and ended up staying longer than we intended; instead of two days we were there for 10. We were there in our 35' 5th wheel. The site was spacious and offered electricity and water. The dump station was available at no charge. The bathrooms were closed due to the pandemic (although we were traveling through in June 2021). There's quite a bit of highway noise but for the convenience and affordability ($40/night) it was worth it. The staff seemed somewhat unsure of what they were doing but all in all, this location worked out great for us. The nearby town of Chiloquin offered basic services like laundry, gas, and groceries.
