The Head of the River Campground offers five tent / RV sites at 4,500 feet elevation. This is a rustic campground with few amenities. Major activities include camping, hunting and fishing. There is no fee for use of the area and sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Directions from Chiloquin: Travel five miles east on Sprague River Road to the Williamson River Road, and follow this 20 miles northeast to Road 4648. Follow 4648 half a mile north to the campground. Normal Services Available: Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend .
