Lots to learn, very informative, very fun, hands on for kids, great time waster, free admission
Worth a visit!
This is a great museum! My son’s favorite part of the museum is its “Hands-On Habitats Room.” The exhibit is perfect for the little explorers in your family; the room allows children to touch, feel, and experience the world of animals living in Wyoming.
This is a great museum! We visited in times of Covid, so the hands-on things for kids were closed. However, the education curator was extremely friendly and helpful. He found a scavenger hunt for our kids that kept them focused a bit more and slowed them down (he has updated scavenger hunts in the works as of July 2020.) The museum has well done and very interesting exhibits. When I asked the same education curator about the beads used by the Native Americans he took the time to take me back to the exhibit to point out what I had missed. This was a surprising and interesting find! We'll worth a stop!
