If you're into "ski camping" this spot is perfect. 49 North is a local ski hill with quaint appeal and decent terrain, if not world class amenities. 49 never feels as crowded as other local hills. Yet the skiing is just as good. The staff are friendly.
There are two parking locations available for RVs. First, there are six electric pedestals (20 and 30 amp) on the corner of the main ski area parking lot. These spots are very close to the lodge and slopes and an my opinion the best sites if you can get one. Second, there area many more non-hookup sites available in the overflow parking lot. The overflow lot is closer to the cross country ski area, which is a plus. Cost is $23 for an electric hookup and $10 for a non-hookup spot (It seems to go up to $27 and $13 on holidays). Payment is made at the ticket window during business hours. The best time to arrive is in the afternoon as the lifts are closing. This is because the RV lots are shared with day-use parking. So you best chance of finding a choice spot is as people are leaving the resort.
Positives:
Slope side camping
Reasonable rates
Negatives:
Snow clearing operations happen at night and can be loud.
Parking lots can get busy, but hey it's a ski resort.
