It all started with a passion for not-so-traditional burgers and a lot of bourbon-infused brainstorming sessions. So we thought, “Let’s put the two together and see what happens.” An upscale burger & bourbon bar. Why not? So in early 2010, we jumped at the opportunity to inhabit what was once the Southern Railway Baggage Building (c. 1867). With the menu complete and a charming space to work with, we started figuring out how to give this project the justice it deserved. We decided to go for LEED Certification, and we ended up turning one of Chattanooga’s oldest buildings into one of the most environmentally friendly businesses in the city. Friends over at The Strauss Company, River Street Architecture, and green|spaces helped us realize our dream.
