Stayed one night after repairs were made on my trailer. Was offered a free night stay, so I'm unsure how much it normally costs. The park is right between the Camping World store and the service department. Not that many full timers in this type of a park, but a couple were evident.
Nobody lead me into the park, or helped me get into my spot. Entrance gate was broken.
Spots are a first come - first serve type ordeal. I wasn't told which spots were what type of electricity, and ended up with a 30A pull through. No biggie, it was winter time and didn't need the AC anyways. After I settled in, it began to pour for a couple hours. When I emerged after the storm, my truck was surrounded by water, and very large puddles all around my trailer. Ended up sloshing around in the water to unhook and be on my way in the morning. Looking around the park, several spots were inundated with water. If you are heading here, try to look for the high ground spots! Lastly, I ended up parking too close to the power box, and couldn't get one of my slides all the way out - wasn't a big deal and 100% my fault anyways, but a spotter would have been helpful.
I imagine this first-come first-serve (or choose whatever spot you want) thing could be annoying when it's rainy and the park is busy, and all the good spots are taken. You'd end up in a spot that looks like a lake!
Large motel sits right behind the park, and a lake on the other side. I was told that fishing without a license is allowed.
Overall a decent place to spend the night. Traffic noise wasn't all that terrible. Hit up the Camping World store while I was there for a few supplies, which was nice. Easy enough to get to from the freeway. Nice to have a store and a service/parts department within walking distance. Very nice to get a free place to park!
The park could use a couple inches of fresh gravel and some water management to get rid of the puddles.

Thanks to RVillage, we knew someone was staying here, so we knew it was dry and there were enough available sites for us to stay here. This is almost a self serve type of park. There is a huge area now to park and unhook if you need to while you register. It was just a bit unclear, mainly from other reviews, that the Camping World store in the back of the area is where you actually register. It looks like the sales is up front and the campground is sort of in the middle. I took pictures and put them in our blog to help others see how it is in 2016.
The cashier as soon as you enter Camping World is who you register with. That wasn't clear but once you tell them what you are doing, they are great. The price was right with your Good Sam discount. We did request 50 amp so she gave us a map with the 50 amp sites marked and said to go pick it out. She gave us a form to fill out with our selection and then we are to give it to the Camp Host or put it in her mail slot (site #9). She was leaving as she saw us backing in. She was very friendly and gave us a few tips.
The location except for the traffic issues with any big city, was ideal. We really enjoyed our time in the area and the campground was ideal. The new friends we made via RVillage.com actually were in the site next to us.
The only two negatives is that it is more or less self serve and it is first come first serve. I did call them before our arrival and they said at the time, there were 50 amp sites available. But it was nice to have someone actually staying there to connect with. This is really a short term campground, but the sites are a bit narrow. We almost got hit by newbies trying to leave....
We didn't use any facilities so can't say much about the bathhouse or swimming area. But the trash was picked up and no liter anywhere.

We actually didn't even end up saying here because there were no sites available.
We pulled in and circled around and every site was taken or had an orange cone blocking the site. It appeared there were a few full timers living in the park (several RV's had cars parked with no tow vehicle and evidence of long time stay). There were also several RV's parked with slide outs put in...looked like camping world was using the sites as storage. Pretty lame that they would advertise this RV park on a blue highway sign when you can't even get a spot...seemingly ever.

We called on 2/27/2021. They said their campground is closed.
