Confirmed by 6 users | Last reported on March 26, 2024It’s a well lit, large parking lot. You get a bit of traffic and noise from the train, but overall pretty quiet. We were joined by 4 or 5 other rvs and 6 semis. It’s great for an overnight.
There’s also a spot where you can watch the horses which is pretty cool

We drive a 40 foot coach and had no difficulty getting in or finding a spot. We stayed 4 nights without any issues. No hookups but does have security and shuttle to casino. Large vehicle parking across from west garage. You will share lot with all types of large vehicles running generators and near a rail road track but we didn’t hear any of it. Will stay here again.

It’s hard to believe that the first five star review I’m giving in a long time is to a casino, but what can you say about a place that offers you a free, clean, fairly level parking lot with a wastebasket and free horseracing next door?
We walked over to the huge complex that contained the track where horse races apparently run all year. There was a huge casino as well. Everyone was very friendly and watching the horses was fun!
We had an OK dinner in the heated clubhouse overlooking the track and watched Thursday night football on our personal TV. Not bad for a cold night in October! Although we walked, as others noted there is a shuttle bus to the parking area for RVs. There were only a couple of RVs here tonight. It is off season.
This site is very convenient to an exploration of Civil War sites in the area, such as Antietam and Harpers Ferry.

Wide open space and pretty level. Fun betting on horse racing and the casino is huge. Have entertainment as Cheap Trick was performing the night we stayed.

We were looking for a place to stay after visiting Harpers Ferry, didn't want to pay $70+ per night at the two local RVs parks, and this casino parking lot was the perfect solution. It was only about a 15-minute drive from Harpers Ferry, mostly level, mostly quiet, and 100% free. There is no need to check-in at the casino and security drives through every couple of hours. As a bonus, there are trash cans, and even some strips of grass along the outer edges if you want to sit outside and pretend you are at a real campground.

The regular lot is being used for COVID testing to we were told by security to use the former “Employee Only “ parking lot just north of the casino on Finish Line Ave. lot is not very level though.

Good one nite stay! Parked on North side of Casino in the "Employee/Overflow" on Finish Line Ave, parking across from the horse barns. The other Employee pkg was used for COVID testing... No need to call, just be polite and let security know that you are there. Had some traffic noise from E 5th Ave but not too bad. Not very level but you should find a spot. We parked near the near fence on left as you pull in.

We stayed here on October 22, 2021. We checked out both parking areas mentioned in the reviews below. We decided to stay on the north side of the casino. We were the only RV with a couple of trucks. We did see RV's in the other parking lot as well.
The casino parking lots and garages were virtually empty giving the feeling that perhaps the casino was not open, it was open. The north parking lot is not level, easy to get level with our self leveling trailer though. There is some traffic noise, but hardly noticeable inside the RV.
We did day trip to Harper's Ferry National Historic Park and enjoyed it.

Our next campground reservation wasn’t for another day so we needed a spot between where we were and where we were headed to sleep. We were able to unhook our toad and grab some amazing tacos at Ortegas and then rehook the toad and relax. There were a couple semis parked by us and a couple other RVs came and went. We felt safe and comfortable here. Other rvs put slides out and used generator but we opted not to use our generator (we don’t have slides) The lot is a bit unlevel like others said. Bad in some places not in others so we moved around until it was level enough. I’d crash here again if we were passing through
